The full-frame within reach of man
The dispute between opponents and the apostles of the full-frame usually just to talk about price and needs. A body with curves

Multiple possibilities

As good full-frame which is the optical viewfinder is huge compared to what we are accustomed photographers chambers with APS-C sensor. It offers more than 95% coverage, with a clear and sharp image that avoids having to leave the eyes in search of a detail.
Interchangeable with several screens, the EOS 5D offers the viewer a large group of data, from the very important statement to the number of photos that fit into the buffer while shooting on a continuous basis.

Approaching
The focus of this model is not particularly fast, and shows that the EOS 5D is not a camera in action. Anyway, it is fairly accurate, even in continuous mode.

Deep into the depths
Escaping the shell that identifies it as the most affordable full-frame of the current market, the EOS 5D is armed with a full-size CMOS sensor and 12.8 megapixels of effective resolution. The recording time on the card, though, is nothing fast: 20 seconds are needed to take a new picture after launching a full gust of 17 pictures in RAW, and just over a minute to completely empty the buffer (using CompactFlash cards from Kingston 50x).
That said, the question is who needs 17 consecutive shots in RAW or 60 JPEG photo studio. We also wonder why there is a socket for SD Card, if this was one of the great successes of recent canonical professional models …
However, the difference between using the L series of objectives and goals more than walk home shows, and much. The machine asks quality, before giving quality.
In the chapter of the sensitivity, the EOS 5D offers versatilísimo range from 100 to 1600 ISO, with two-values forced from above and below-allowing extend the range of 50 to 3200 ISO. The electronic noise is a nuisance barely perceptible in this model, with different sensibilities are perfectly usable.
A world in color
The issue of color, very important for a camera with a veneer of living in a studio or at least surrounded by flashes of high caliber, is taken into account in the EOS 5D. Thus, apart from the two color spaces already mentioned, this camera allows for a fine adjustment of color hue, which would certainly correct that many dominant headaches with a computer.
And speaking of colors, a tremendously important parameter is the white balance. The 5D features, how could it be otherwise, a good assortment of pre balances, plus the ability to perform a manual adjustment and the other in scale of degrees Kelvin.
Something loose on the stage with incandescent light, especially with the automatic balance, the EOS 5D can not say that the modes are predetermined his strong point. A solid first step
